Other ways we help

The rest of the boring bits

Beyond being your Responsible Person, selling through us, and running your booth — here's who we point you to for everything else. The partners we'd actually use ourselves.

  • Setting up a Singapore company

When you're ready for your own entity. Incorporation runs roughly 5–10 business days and around S$3,000–4,000 all-in for the first year. Osome — AI-driven incorporation with corporate secretary and accounting bundled. Fast filing. Sleek — the most hand-holding. Nominee director available standalone; accounting from ~S$900/yr. BBCIncorp — cheapest all-in package for foreign owners, and no nominee deposit. The recurring cost people miss: as a foreign owner you need a nominee resident director, roughly S$2,000–3,000 a year, every year until you have a resident director of your own. Ask all three: the all-in first-year cost, whether a refundable nominee deposit applies, and the incorporation turnaround.

  • A business account that holds SGD

The thing nobody warns Indonesian founders about: a fully Indonesian-owned Singapore company does not qualify for the instant account-opening flows at DBS, OCBC or UOB — those need a Singaporean or PR with Singpass. You get routed into manual due diligence, which realistically takes two to eight weeks or more. Airwallex — fastest realistic path, fully remote, roughly 48 hours. Multi-currency, interbank rate plus ~0.6% converting to IDR. Aspire — Singapore SME-focused, similar profile. Wise Business — ~S$99 one-time for local account details. Very transparent pricing, ~0.4–0.7% all-in to IDR. All three are MAS-licensed payment institutions, not banks — no SDIC deposit insurance. Fine for working capital; think twice before parking reserves. Open the account the day your UEN lands — it's the long pole, not the incorporation.

  • Getting your stock across

Ninja Cross Border — purpose-built for the ID→SG lane, dedicated Singapore and Malaysia, pairs with their own last-mile. Janio — e-commerce-native regional forwarder, bundles customs clearance. Good "start small" option. Andalin — Indonesia's leading digital forwarder — holds customs brokerage and freight licences, SME-friendly on the ID side. DHL / SAP Express — once you're shipping pallets rather than cartons. Say "fragrance" in your first message. Alcohol-based perfume is dangerous goods for air freight (UN1266, Class 3) and needs a DG-capable forwarder — it's the single thing that trips up a first fragrance shipment. Many brands ship fragrance by sea specifically to avoid the surcharges. Also ask whether they'll apply English over-labels to your stock on arrival — often easier at the 3PL than a Singapore print run.

  • Product & liability insurance

Two different things, and pop-up organisers usually only require the first. Public liability — most venues require around S$1M cover. Available as a short-term event policy; budget in the low hundreds of Singapore dollars. Check what your organiser's vendor kit actually specifies. Product liability — separate, and worth asking about if you sell cosmetics or fragrance. Ask specifically for a cosmetics extension; standard policies often exclude it.

We earn a small referral from some of these — we only ever list partners we'd genuinely use, and it never changes what you pay them.

Who we won't refer you to

  • Anyone paying us to be listed. The fee follows the referral, never the placement.
  • Anyone we haven't used ourselves, or wouldn't.
  • A Responsible Person firm that won't tell you whose UEN carries the liability. It's publicly checkable in HSA's database, and vagueness about it is disqualifying.
  • We also never pay a brand's own staff for an introduction — only independent introducers, invoiced and disclosed.

Questions we get

Do I have to use these?

No. It's who we'd use. If you already have an accountant, a forwarder or a bank you trust, keep them.

Will you manage them for me?

Not directly — this is an introduction. If you want the coordination handled, that's what RP + Gateway covers.

What if a partner does a bad job?

Tell us. We'll help sort it and reconsider the listing. A referral fee isn't worth a partner who embarrasses us.
